Positive: The facility was pristine. It appeared to have been recently renovated. Everything was sparkling. Breakfast was complimentary and plentiful. Free parking was available and there was an indoor pool! Checking in and out was a breeze. The bed and bedding were oh so comfy!

Negative: I think that the room rate was a little high for the quality of the room. Although everything appeared to be new, the quality wasn’t what I would have expected for the price. Materials seemed to be rather inexpensive. I’ve never encountered front desk staff that were less welcoming than the ones we interfaced with at check-in. No greeting. No hello. No may i help you. We were the only guests at the desk but had to speak up before either the man or woman acknowledged our presence. The male was at least courteous after we decided who to speak to. The female never said a word. No smile. Nothing. I’ve never encountered such people working in the hospitality industry. I’ve travelled all over the world. I’ve always been welcomed upon entry. Greeted at the desk. Smile or at least a word of welcome. A thank you. An enjoy your stay. We got NONE of thst. The male was bland. The female seemed disconnected and determined not to engage with guests. The male was better at checkout. Upper management needs to train/re-train or at least remind staff how guests should be treated. Hospitality is still the biggest part of the hospitality industry.
