Positive: This was walking distance to 8th Street with restaurants, ice cream shops, etc. A section of 8th St is closed to cars. There were lots of people out on a Saturday night. Since we arrived late afternoon and left the next morning, this was a perfect location to walk 8th Street to our dinner reservation and experience a small part of Boise.

Negative: Breakfast was ok, but not the best.

Positive: A beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings. Upon arrival, when checking in at the hotel (in the evening), an employee informed me that one of the shops in the area was still open. He double-checked this online with a colleague, but after driving 7 miles, it turned out that the shop was closed. I have no idea how the employee did it, but unfortunately, I drove the route unnecessarily. The breakfasts were tasty and modest. The room was clean and spacious.

Negative: The employees confused me by saying something was open when it was closed. When I got back to the hotel, I told them I got the wrong info from them, but sadly, nobody even said sorry :( Breakfast was simple and served on disposable plastic plates.
