Summary: Bed and pillows were nice. Towels were rough and scratchy. Room was clean. Temperature control on unit was confusing. No fan in bathroom so mirror steamed up. Breakfast was not good. Area is quiet. Overall it was ok except for the price. For what we paid, it should have been a lot better!

Summary: The staff was great and the breakfast was good. The room was not completely clean and the hotel was partially under construction hence the 3 rating.

Summary: Hotel is undergoing major renovations so there are boxes throughout the first floor lobby. third floor is completely closed. Elevators were not working so all weekend. Pool was closed until summer. Only 1 worker on staff at any time of day so if they were off doing something else there was no one else at the front desk or answering phones. Hotel is definitely outdated so I see the need for renovations but they should put that on the website. Workers were working on Saturday all day and sounded like they were coming through the ceiling. also, not sure if this was Orbitz's problem or the hotel renovations, but the room type I booked and paid extra for I did not get. Was supposed to have a king wiht pull out couch in the room and got put in a king bed with no sofa. Front desk lady said they only had 1 of those rooms available and it was already rented out so there was nothing she could do. She never offered a credit or anything and said if she switched me to a double bed room she would actually charge me more. Completely unacceptable. entire first floor smelled like puck when we arrived. The only good thing was it did have 2 waffle makers and a decent variety for breakfast. TVs in room and lobby did not get the playoff football games even though they were on the major stations and you couldn't get access through your personal accounts either due to their wifi location (blocked). Until renovations are fully completed I would recommend staying somewhere else.

Summary: Every time I stayed before the pool was not open. This time it was open and I was going to go swimming but the heater went out and it was closed again.

Summary: Didn't eat breakfast, as there was a soccer tournament and the lobby was full. I didn't try the gym. I visited cause my sister passed away and I was there for her funeral. I will definetly stay there again when I am in Muscatine again. The only thing I didn't like was the elevator was scary. It made a weird sound when going up/down. Otherwise the hotel was clean, beautiful room. The bed was a little hard but wasn't terrible. Check in was easy, the front desk employee was very nice and sympathetic. Her kindness is what makes me want to come stay there when I come back into town. Housekeepers do a wonderful job of making sure the room is clean, I didn't see one speck of dust.
