Summary: The unit is great and a good central location in the area. There was a hot water issue and the plumber could not come until the day after we were to leave. The hosts gave us a couple of options which were very much appreciated.

Summary: Lynne and Alec were perfect hosts for our short 3 day stopover. The facilities and setting are excellent. Very convenient for our short tour of the Jurassic Coast before jumping on a ferry to the Isle of Wight. We would absolutely recommend the Old Dairy for a Dorset vacation.

Summary: Immaculate accommodation in a quiet location. We were using this as a base to visit relatives and to visit Monkey World which was a short drive away. Our host Lynne was there to greet us but did not hover. The welcoming pack of milk, biscuits and wine hit the spot after a very long drive from Norfolk. Can’t fault this little gem and would definitely book again.

Summary: My friend and I enjoyed watching the birds in the garden - there were lots! The accomodation had everything we could possibly need. It was really clean and so comfortable; an absolute pleasure to stay in such a beautiful place. Having leaflets of all the local places was useful - we visited the Blue Pool, had a great walk and tea with fab cake.

Summary: A very relaxing place to stay. Beautifully furnished with a generously equipped kitchen. Very nice to find a pint of milk in the fridge and a selection of snacks. A nice touch to have a selection of books to read and leaflets for places to visit. Loved watching the birds on the bird feeders and the lambs in the neighbouring field. Overall a lovely quiet place to relax. Would definitely want to come again.

Summary: Exceptional stay, check in was as smooth as it comes, the cottage was prepared and very clean and instructions on how to operate any items was clearly highlighted. As other reviews have described, the garden is lovely, peaceful and quiet. The farm / cottage is ideally located, just off a main road and is usually 10-30 minutes away from any local hot spots (depending on where you go obviously). Our first stay in Dorset and it didn’t disappoint! Thank you!!
