Positive: The room was large and the private lani was great. I had a delicious breakfast the fist morning with a great cup of coffee.

Negative: The driveway was over grown with brush and the parking space was tight.

Summary: We will definitely be back, we enjoyed our stay.

Positive: The room, the view, the aura was exceptional!! The breakfast was also awesome! Owners Ricky and Irina were very nice and friendly as well.

Negative: Because of our ages (in our mid-70's), we had difficulties with how low all of the room's furniture was to the ground.

Summary: We enjoyed Hale Hualalai immensely!!!!!!

Positive: Very idilic, peaceful location with an incredible view. The hosts (Ricky and Irina) were so kind and friendly. I really enjoyed the morning breakfasts on the Lanai (porch). I plan to come back for sure.

Negative: Not a thing to dislike.

Summary: I cannot speak more highly about this property. If you’re waffling between this and some other place, just pick this one

Positive: The breakfasts were fabulous. The host is an excellent cook and a lot of the food was ‘farm to table.’ The owners were friendly. Other writers have mentioned a parking difficulty, but to us it was completely fine. Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking the farm, the hills, and the ocean in the distance.

Negative: Our plan was to stay out of Kona town to avoid the noises of the city. Unfortunately, the hosts played a radio, 24/7, onto the public patio which we could hear in our room.

Positive: Our hosts Ricky and his wife, were down-to-earth, fun, kind, and extremely welcoming. Very family-oriented and wholesome in all the best ways. Ricky is an extraordinary chef so ALWAYS say yes to morning breakfast daily if possible. Ricky blessed us with his beautiful presence and outgoing personality. He shared about Hawaiian culture - as per my inquiry and interest, his home gardening experiences, offerings and recommendations for restaurants and special places to visit. My husband and I REALLY loved our stay and wished we could've had more than two nights. Beautiful home space with high ceilings, great tub and shower area, Internet was strong, and gosh THE VIEW at sunset is spectacular! So much care and love in this place.
