Summary: The building itself was beautiful and very convenient for the onward journey back to the uk. A little disappointed in the room - there were 2 downstairs at the end of a corridor and it made it feel a little like a dungeon!! There was quite a lot of noise during the night - a boiler or machine if some description? One lamp didn’t work and the when using the shower the plastic runner at the bottom of the glass panel was non existent so water all over the floor. I updated the reception who were really pleasant and said they would get it looked into. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful and definitely the way to start your day.

Summary: The room was spotless - really good bath & shower. Everyone in the restaurant was human, friendly and lovely. Thanks so much for making our short stay so comfortable! lovely!

Summary: Another great stay. Astrid was a perfect hostess. Great option for an evening meal. Nothing too much trouble. Breakfast great. A lovely place to relax.

Summary: Hotel was a beautiful old Chateau. Our Luxe room was on 2nd floor and a lot of stairs and no lift! I also would have expected AC. Being so high up into the eaves the room was very warm. The tea and coffee provision in the room was poor. We were kept awake well after 11pm by music and loud voices in the bar, amd on the terrace, even though we were told the bar closed at 10.

Summary: Nice stop ahead of return to UK, we had dog and they have dog friendly rooms. Clean, lovely grounds, staff very welcoming, good food. Not particularly cheap but if you are heading back from Alps or south of France and want somewhere close to tunnel it’s a brilliant option

Summary: This is an exceptional place to stay. Lovely room great staff and delicious food. Will definitely return. Only minor criticism would be that pool area did not live up to the rest of the hotel and could do with an upgrade.
