Summary: It was amazing! If you love the solitude that‘s the place to stay. We had a clear night without any wind and the sky was full of northern lights. And the best part, no other people around (well, except the hosts, horses, chicken and ducks from the lake in front of our little cottage). Only 20 min away from Godafoss, or 25 min away from Húsavík. Definitely recommend this one! The host was very nice and welcomed us warmly.

Summary: Nice, quiet place in a farm. The owner was super helpful. She even brought some milk and sugar from her house for us to make tea. She did recommend a great local restaurant where we went for dinner.

Summary: Wonderful small guest house on a small lake with row boats! Owners were very friendly and helpful! Microwave and hot plate and small fridge. Highly recommend!

Summary: I loved that this property was secluded, it felt like a dream staying here because of how beautiful it was and how connected to nature we felt. Amenities had everything we needed for a comfortable stay!

Summary: This turned up to be a little gem for a couple with a 12 years old boy. The picture on the website did not do it justice. Very peaceful, beautiful surrounding, near river icelandic ponies with o e beautiful very young foal. Would highly recommend it
