Summary: I’m not one to write reviews but I needed to say how amazing our stay was. The staff was so friendly and kind. The restaurant on site was delicious! If we come back to Iceland we will definitely come back and stay here!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Guesthouse Brekka. Location is convenient to both the Myvatn area and Husvik. Room was clean and comfortable - loved the horses grazing in the fields nearby. We had a wonderful dinner at their restaurant (you can make reservations ahead of time or at check-in) and the breakfast included in our rate was also delicious. They also offer laundry if staying more than 1 night. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

Summary: We stayed for one night, Our family of four adults had planty of room. The common areas were big enough to accommodate all of us while watching a movie. It felt a little like "sleep away camp" from our younger days. Nothing was over the top fancy, but everything was functional and clean. That was all we needed for our one night stay. The place is also very quiet. Parking is right next to the unit, so moving luggage was easy enough. We would stay here again.
