Summary: We absolutely loved it. An excellent "cottage" complete for a long term stay with very nice appointments and a gorgeous serene and peaceful view. It is about 30 minutes from towns and grocery stores so plan ahead. The hosts were very helpful and responsive.

Summary: My family did an 8-days ring road of Iceland in early April 2026, and this place/villa was, out of all the 7 hotels, hands down best hotel we stayed. My husband who doesn't usually leave reviews asked me to post a review for this place! Everything was spotless clean, modern and well equipped. We could definitely feel the owners' thoughtful touches throughout the villa (wooden chess set, warm blanket, olive oil for cooking, artistic coffee/tea cups, Reykjavik candle company 'hotel-lobby' room scent, cookbook for reference... ) And the hot-tub!! I think I want to re-visit Iceland just to use this place's hot-tub. Everything was so perfect and lovely. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Summary: The house is incredible. Every detail is well thought through. The amenities are of high quality. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, which is not usual in Iceland. We loved the hot tub under the bright stars and Aurora. We liked the remote location; still it’s close to Husavik and Akureyri. Perfect location to explore the north of Iceland!
