Positive: Walking distance to everywhere, and a sensible room at a sensible rate with a sense for Isafjordur's history. The check-in and check-out at the hotel was expected and wasn't far away. I can understand a road-weary traveler wanting the logistics to be mroe immediate -- but it's a short drive on a rainy day and a pleasant walk on a nice evening that will give you a feel for the location.
