Summary: The breakfast was included in our booking, I thought it would just be a continental one but we could chose anything from the menu. We were actually the only people staying on a cold night in winter but the staff made an effort to make us welcome. I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, the chef made the best scrambled eggs I've ever had with chopped chives that really elevated the dish. Bar and meal on the night we arrived were also excellent. Room comfortable and warm, shower hot and with good water pressure. Thoroughly recommend this place, a lovely traditional British pub.

Summary: Very pleasant mine host and friendly breakfast cook; comfortable room; (but bathroom daddy longlegs spider by wash-basin could perhaps have been rehoused). A nice overnight stay at a reasonable price

Summary: This property is tired and needs better management no TV remote working in room waiting times for evening meal was very poor and expensive for a pub did not have all the breakfast menu

Summary: What a lovely village pub. The staff were really friendly and breakfast was excellent. The room was a little tired and a little small, but good value for money. Would certainly visit again.

Summary: A beautiful pub with stunning garden and setting, great food and beer selection. Staff are really helpful and attentive. Rooms are a little old but still very comfy and have everything you need. I stayed for business in the area but a great place for a holiday stop as well!

Summary: A very lovely pub in a picturesque village. Spacious rooms, friendly staff, very good food and a broad selection of wines and beers. I arrived just in time for the last dinner order, thankfully. Breakfast was included in my stay and was also very nice. The pub is very homely, warmly lit and has a classic village inn feel. The bathroom in my room could probably benefit from a slight cosmetic improvement but that is a minor point on what was overall a pleasant but brief stay.
