Positive: I really like how the hotell was more like a resort in that you could enjoy a nice vacation with out leaving the property. They had food drinks a swim up bar and activities, but what really sealed the deal was that its a 10 minute walk to semuc champey's entrance so clutch!

Positive: Pool etc is great (if the weather is warm, which unfortunately it wasn’t at all, obviously no fault of the hostel). Food is decent and not too expensive considering you can’t bring your own.

Negative: The private room was insane, all windows, one completely sheer curtain and one more normal one, leaving 3 totally bare. I literally couldn’t wrap my head around why?? Once it’s dark, and you turn on a light you can 100% see inside which is just weird and such an easy fix.

Positive: Location was amazing! Just 15 min walking from Semuc Champey. Staff was very friendly and made check in and check out very smooth! Food was decent and reasonable price considering you can't bring any food from outside.

Negative: I wished I did more research. They call it hotel but it's misleading because I had no idea it's a party hostel when I booked it. My girlfriend and I are very introverted and like to keep to ourselves but this place was as busy as it gets in the evenings. Every night was some kind of event which involved loud music which you can't escape due to cabins not having windows only insect screens.

Summary: If you are young, extroverted, looking to party and meet new people this is the place for you

Positive: Every single thing. Since the great pick up coordination, the welcoming, the private room, all the common areas, the games at night, the cave tour and all the amazing staff. And above all we appreciate the amazing Eddy who’s the best host we could have had. We decided to extend our stay just to be able to enjoy being at the hostel.

Positive: Great location close to the pools of Semuc Champey, Walking distance so you can be the first ones there! We sleep in the newest building which was very cozy, comfortable beds, very clean public bathrooms (every time I was there I met someone cleaning), great public areas to relax by the pool or in a hammock, we did the cave tour which was amazing!

Negative: More expensive than what we‘re used to in Guatemala when it comes to food in the restaurant and accommodation.
