Positive: The room was spacious and clean. Good AC in the room. 15min walk from the bus station, in the main road
Negative: Staff did not speak english, the shower was bad: low pressure and dripping water; expensive for the standards.

Positive: I was picked up from the shuttle bus stop and taken to the hotel. The Semuc Champey trip was fabulous. Extremely well organised throughout the day. The room was spacious, very clean and quiet.
Negative: Bit on the expensive side. They gave me the family room even though I was solo.

Positive: Comfortable room with very accommodating and friendly staff. Lauri even found space for us to rest ahead of check in following a 6am arrival which was incredibly kind. Delicious breakfast available for a fair price. They were also happy to refill water bottles. Lauri helped me get some washing done at a nearby hotel. They can call the collectivo over to Semuc to pick you up directly from the hotel. Thank you!

Positive: The owners and staff were wonderful. They helped me arrange activities, practice my Spanish and made a beautiful breakfast every morning.
Negative: The property is simple - but clean and welcoming. My only suggestion would be to include comfortable seeing in the common area to encourage travellers to gather and be social.
