We welcome everyone and especially love hosting families and traveling professionals for extended stays. Easy access to highways in both directions for access to Waikiki, downtown, military bases and hospitals. Our guest house is completely free-standing and elevated above our roofline so the views are even better! Our 2 bed/ 1 bath house has its own smart hot water heater, full-size washer/dryer, kitchen, living room, covered lanai with outdoor dining and a rainforest garden.
Please "request to book" for a price quote; all bookings must be a minimum of 30 days per Honolulu city & county code, but may start and end on a day other than the 1st of the month (we'll pro-rate). We are happy to accommodate families and having a little one of our own, we have lots of toys & gear we can share with you.
Now about our place: Rainbow Bungalow is a 2bd/1bath fully detached private guest house. Rainbows are commonly seen in the afternoons if the rain comes over the Manoa range as the sun is setting. Our location is close to everything in town but secluded and quiet at the same time. Manoa Marketplace, which is about 1.5 miles from the house, has everything you need - grocery store, drug store, 3 coffee shops, vegetarian cafe, ahi bowl cafe and more. Enjoy award-winning restaurants, a farmer market, grocery stores, mall and beautiful community park nearby. Freeway and public transportation access close by.

If you'd like, we can also arrange for maid service weekly or bi-weekly. You can pay our cleaner directly at $80 (2 hours) of bathroom/kitchen cleaning and linen changes.
We also have some fun ocean gear that you can borrow if we aren't using it including kayaks and stand up paddleboards.

Summary: We came in the middle of March and it was perfect. There was four adults and we were comfortable the entire time. The house is very clean, and has a fully stocked kitchen. The owner was very flexible with our schedule changes, and was very easy to deal with. Would book this house again in a heart beat!

Summary: The accommodations met our needs. We were here for a medical reason. Jess was a lovely hostess , excellent communication. We hope to come back again. So nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki.

Summary: Loved my stay here!!! Went with 4 other girls for a girls weekend and the location was perfect!! Quiet area and very clean! We did run out of toilet paper and I was able to contact the owner and get the “situation” fixed extremely fast and officiant. (Thank god!)
