Summary: First off, I am not a high-maintenance guest. I was expecting some level of inefficiency from a family B&B. But the level of disorganization I experienced really spoiled things. When I arrived, no one was tracking my reservation, and the folks I checked in with were nice but didn't seem to be running the inn. Half the property was off limits and the other half was in disarray due to renovations. The staff gave me sheets to put up over the windows as there were no curtains. Went and bought a vacuum cleaner because the overall condition felt so dingy. There was no breakfast due to the renovations. The staff who did take care of me did their best (like finding sheets for the windows), and once I got settled it was "home sweet home", but this place should not be hosting guests with this level of disorganization. At no point did anyone from management offer to recompense me for the experience. This B&B has an incredible amount of potential as a wonderful contrast to Waikiki and I'd love to stay there again in the future, but I would need some reassurance that that they have brought some order to the chaos I experienced.

Summary: The whole hotel needs some maintenance and upgrades. There was too much junky stuff everywhere, including tacky Christmas decor and lights. Breakfast was lacking. Out of syrup for pancakes, no orange juice. Seen better days.

Summary: This property has so much potential. I believe a plaque outside said it was a historic home built in the early 1900's, and it has many unique architectural features inside and out. It also has many numerous native plants in the backyard that would make a beautiful secluded retreat in the middle of the city, along with a pool with several custom features, including a stone waterfall. Unfortunately, the property has been neglected and is just waiting to be brought back to it's former glory. Hopefully the owners will be able to find the funds and vision for a full renovation. If it was renovated I would consider visiting again.

Summary: This a charming and beautiful old building. The individual rooms and common spaces are inviting, and sitting on the lanai with a view of Honolulu is wonderful! The owners provide a simple but filling breakfast and a coffee station and fridge near the sleeping quarters. All staff were welcoming and receptive to questions. If you’re looking for accommodation away from the Waikiki area, or near UH, this is a great choice. We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: This is an old and historic property. It is still being renovated , but was comfortable and gave an experience of an old, historic plantation home. Manoa Valley is a good location. It was nice to sit out in the morning and look at the garden and listen to the birds.

Summary: The 1919 historical home is a work in progress. Renovations are not totally complete, but the current condition is beautiful, quiet and quaint. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I'd stay there again. When the place is filled, more organized parking would be a bonus.

Summary: We like this historical charming property with a nice garden and indoor/ outdoor sitting areas. The property is in Manoa residential area near the university. It feels like visiting relatives in Hawaii. It is not resort hotel type of experience. Lisa works so hard to get us ice water and figure out the AC for us. She is such a nice host. We will like to come back and suggest this place to others.
