This is a large super unique and luxurious property nestled on a peaceful wooded landscape. Fields surround the gravel drive down to the walkway and its not uncommon to spot deer, rabbits, and many birds along the way. The illuminated walkway brings you to the house which is surrounded by a rambling brook/stream on both sides. A large wood deck is the perfect place to sit out and enjoy the sounds of nature.
The house has three levels and has a open spacious floor plan. The kitchen has all modern conveniences including GE Profile Stainless Steel appliances and granite counter tops. There is Wi-Fi .The laundry room features front loading washer/dryer. Dining room has a large table and seating for eight. The mid level bedrooms (one queen bed, one full) each have a full bath. The half bath is in the laundry room, off the kitchen. The bottom level is a huge room with a walk out and fireplace and a queen bed. The back of the house features a 'glass room' with a futon that could sleep one or two more people. There are three full size couches that could easily sleep three more. It is a long walk to the door down a deck. It is NOT steep, but there aren't handrails until the bottom section. We recommend to bring your own drinking water as this home is on a well/septic system.

Summary: This is a wonderful property and very comfortable. It’s spacious, clean, and serviceable as well as being in a great location for wineries at both Seneca and Keuka Lakes. There’s just a couple of quirky things that would be helpful to know about in advance: you need to bring your own drinking water because the well water (although it’s been tested and is ok) isn’t recommended to be used; it’s about 150 feet from the parking area to the house down a long ramp with a number of steps and no handrail; and if you’re there in heating season, the heat is a little odd, and it took us a couple of calls to the owner to try to figure it out and we’re not sure we ever really did. But overall we had a great time and just wish we had had better weather to enjoy the beautiful wooded landscape.
