Negative: Pool was kinda yucky and bed not so comfortable. Pillows too bulky and poofy.

Summary: It was fine. Not my favorite, but the ability to utilize services across the street made it worth returning.

Positive: We traveled to Miami to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Upon arrival and after checking in, we immediately noticed that the property we had booked was not what we had seen online, nor was it our intention to book it. The website is a bit misleading, as it shows images of the main Grand Beach Hotel located on the beach, but in reality, you may be booked at the sister property, Surfside West, which is located across the street. Be very careful when booking through a third party. After voicing our concerns, the hotel staff did take the time to explain the situation in detail. However, we never received an apology for the misleading presentation online, only an explanation of what they couldn’t do to make it right, which was a bit frustrating. On a positive note, the rooms were very clean and the balcony access provided a peaceful experience. Even though we were unhappy about the booking confusion, we still had a great stay overall.

Positive: Overall, it was a very good hotel Amazing location Good facilities Staff weren't particularly helpful They didn't inform us of the facilities, and we found them occasionally and missed the rooftop pool on our building We were on the west side, so we had to cross the busy road to get to the main hotel, and no help was offered with the luggage
