Positive: Quiet location, tucked away in the countryside. Warm, clean and tidy. Tastefully decorated. Rooms all a good size. Great bathroom. Log burner in the living room was just perfect for cooler evenings. Lovely garden, with hot tub! Everything that you needed was available.

Positive: well equipped, clean and comfortable and really close to the cliffs where we were able to walk each day. we also really appreciated the warm welcome, introduction to the facilities and lived the baskets full of goodies on arrival!

Negative: only qualms were that the tv remote was a little slow to work and there needed to be another oven shelf, but we can’t fault anything else

Positive: Completely self contained and completely private. Very warm & friendly welcome by host. Generous supply of nibbles and snacks an added bonus. Delightfully cosy comfortable living/kitchen area well equipped and each room spotless. Village of Bempton nearby. Great Pub. Whitby & Scarborough a few hours drive, definitely a must visit. Highly recommended.

Positive: Very comfortable cottage in a perfect location for exploring the surrounding area, situated on farmland. Peaceful surroundings. Comfy beds, good heating and excellent hot tub with clever towel/ponchos provided. Much appreciated in the freezing weather! Stargazing was fantastic from the hot tub and we were treated to a couple of owls circling above each night. The hosts are very friendly but not intrusive and a lovely hamper welcomed us. Lots of nature in the area, we saw a large buzzard, fox and deer, also seals in a cove at Flamborough. Bempton cliffs and Flamborough are close by and stunning. The local pub, the White Horse in Bempton served great food. The cottage is only 15mins from Bridlington so not far to a supermarket. Would recommend Granary Cottage and hopefully we will be back again soon!

Positive: The location of the cottage was peaceful and relaxing. The owner was there to greet us and show us round. A wonderful welcome basket of treats, milk and juice already in the fridge. We relaxed in the hot tub each evening.
