No smoking. Please note: There is a pond in the garden.. Situated on the family farm, this detached cottage lies close to Bempton Cliffs. Its spacious living room is open plan and has a cosy multi-fuel burner for cooler evenings. To the rear of the property is a secluded, enclosed garden which has both a lawned and terraced area, and where a bubbling hot tub awaits.
Situated on a family-run sheep farm, this property is within easy reach of Bempton Cliffs where you’ll find a wonderful RSPB bird sanctuary. Here you’ll find thousands of migrating sea birds perched on the chalk cliffs overlooking the North Sea, including puffins, guillemots and kittiwakes, as well as many other rare sightings that bird watchers travel miles to see. Between the cliffs and the cottage is an expanse of open farmland with abundant wildlife where deer can be spotted grazing early in the morning, and foxes and barn owls at night.
The bustling seaside town of Bridlington is just a short drive from the cottage, and has a busy working harbour and a large sandy beach for children to enjoy. To the north of the property lies Filey and Scarborough, both very popular seaside resorts with excellent beaches as well as plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Both Scarborough and Bridlington have leisure complexes with pools and slides, and plus there’s the ever popular Sea Life centre on Scarborough seafront. Granary Cottage is a great base for visiting the East Coast and the North York Moors National Park. Beach 4 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Summary: What a fantastic find!! We absolutely can't find fault with this fabulous little cottage!! Beautiful and peaceful location only a short drive from Bridlington and the hot tub was the icing on the cake!

Summary: Loved our weekend break here, what a nice family and surrounding area. Peaceful and relaxing! Loved the hot tub, perfect for when the little one was out for the count after a day of fresh sea air! Would definately visit again.

Summary: The owners of the cottage had thought of absolutely everything. We wanted a peaceful location where we could relax and unwind and this was the perfect place. The hot tub was a wonderful. I would go back again.

Summary: Stayed for a short break in October with our 2 springer spaniels , was welcomed with a very friendly warm welcome.We had a lovely welcome hamper which we really enjoyed. The cottage is deceptively spacious modern and well presented with a good secure private garden . The cottage was comfy and well equipped with all we needed . We enjoyed the hot tub . There was a log burner with a few logs provided but didn’t get around to light it (was too busy enjoying the hot tub!) . The bed rooms were spacious and bed comfy we slept well. The Lovely surprise was it was a short walk to the coastal path .The sheep in the little paddock were great and full of character , the chickens need to learn road sense !! They were certainly playing chicken with us !! Haha . Lots of wildlife to enjoy in the area and can be viewed from the cottage garden . We really enjoyed our stay and are planning our next visit .

Summary: Beautiful cottage in the middle of farmland beautiful views and very peaceful and a lovely bubbling hot tub to come back to after a day out, owners could not have been more welcoming especially as my dog is a large breed dog I was worried as the property was carpeted but she made me feel at ease and fetched me some blankets to cover carpet so my dog didn't mark the carpet as it was raining when we arrived. she brought us some fresh eggs in the morning . she had the right balance of leaving you to enjoy your stay but was there if you needed her. The cottage was beautifully decorated and very homely and the log burner was cosy and warm very close to everything beach just a couple of miles away. Really enjoyed our stay would defo return Shaun and Lisa
