Positive: Generally very pleasant. The number of stairs up to the apartment was a surprise. And the exact location of the apartment was not explained. We had to call the host to explain. View was amazing! We enjoyed our stay very much.

Positive: It was a beautiful location with amazing views. Just the development alone was stunning! The decor was all in theme and very cute! Having a golf cart was a definite plus since Avalon is over the hill. Off of the balcony we saw seals, dolphins, a bald eagle, and while driving through we saw deer and a fox. All of the wildlife added to the charm. We didn't have time to use the amenities, but the development had a pool, hot tub, and tennis courts. The community is quiet and perfect for a relaxing trip! We look forward to using the amenities and going down to the beach on our next visit!

Negative: There was no central heat, and the space heaters tripped the circuit breakers, so we couldn't use them or the electric fireplace. There were plenty of blankets, though. There were also lots of stairs! Since the development is hillside, which is part of its beauty, we had a lot of stairs to climb to get to our unit. The Internet at the unit was up and down constantly. It made it hard to use streaming services. Even around town, cell signals kept coming and going. We just used our phones for pictures and enjoyed our weekend together :)
