Summary: The house has an amazing kitchen and plenty of space for a large group. As with most houses there, it is up a steep hill, but shuttles are available. The cleanliness is acceptable but could use some attention to detail. We would definitely stay again.

Summary: The prosThe living spaces were large with excellent couches, chairs and tables. The 3 bathrooms were great for our group of 5 women. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen. We had all the ours, pans, bowls, dishes, glassware and utensils we needed for cooking all our meals. The bedrooms were large with good closet space and dresser space. The upstairs balcony had very comfy furniture in excellent condition. The views were really wonderful. The house was nicely decorated and we felt like we were visiting a friend’s house instead of a rental. What could be improved. The bedrooms had a musty smell. Specifically the room with the twin bars was quite bad. The dishwasher is a Bosch, cleans well but took over 2 and a half hours to complete the cycle and we were not allowed to leave the house or go to bed with it running. The sign in kitchen says you must open it and turn it off after it runs do you don’t short out the house. That was really inconvenient when you’re on vacation and want to go somewhere but also come back to clean dishes so you can cook the next meal. Put the Kitchen Rules sign on the island. We didn’t see it until day 2! It was hiding behind the toaster. The front bedrooms on both need blackout curtains. The sun was crazy bright. More kitchen towels. We had only two for the whole 5 days. We asked twice for more never got them. The consThe person in the front downstairs bedroom said the neighbors were very noisy from 1am to 3 am nightly

Summary: This house was great for our family Easter getaway. Plenty of room for 8 of us, amazing kitchen, living area and balcony with the best view! Check in process was easy and everything was super clean. It is located on a hill so the walk up to the house was difficult for some but we all can’t wait to go back!

Summary: The pictures don’t do the property justice. It very nice, and the view from the patio is great. Beach stuff is provided in the garage. Short walk to the restaurants and bars. The golf course is about a 15 minute walk away. One thing I’d like to mention for people who may have a little trouble walking or maybe a little older; the property is about 20 minutes from the ferry with the last 5 minutes being all up hill. Pulling bags up the hill was a little bit of work but not bad. Otherwise great trip!

Summary: Would be 5 stars if the beds and pillows were a little nicer (not bad, just could be better) and if the golf cart that is in the garage were able to be used by the guests. Those are the only 2 little, nit-picky things I can think of. Overall, fantastic place to stay, awesome views, killer kitchen and area to hang out with plenty of seating. Without the golf cart you can still walk into the "downtown" no problem, however you'd need to rent something to do any real exploring. We walked up to the botanical gardens and that was a decent hike but overall was worth it. Highly recommend.

Summary: The stunning views help slightly ease the other glaring problems with this property. Very dated except the kitchen. Beds old and uncomfortable. One room in particular had garbage under the bed, stained and dirty sheets, human hair from the last occupants, and general lack of caring. Unfortunately after contacting Catalina Vacation rentals four times, they simply did NOT bother to return ANY of my calls to try and rectify the problems. Therefore as much as I loathe leaving a negative review I have to warn others. This is not a cheap rental by any stretch. So it would seem they have you hostage and “ too bad, so sad” is their policy. I have owned rental properties in the past and this was simply a disgraceful way to be treated. What a shame!
