Positive: Right on the beach. Beautiful sunrise each morning, walking distance to all amenities. Good air conditioning, safe area, I didn't experience any feelings of being unsafe.

Positive: The location is perfect. Directly by/on the beach. Nothing beats that, you can hear the waves while sleeping. We were given a "down apartement" at the end, so the view was obstruced a bit by some fisherman's shed and under the stair from the apartments above. There are also a lot of palm trees so to see the sea, you will wanto to move a bit further.- :) It has a little terrace, that's nice, but its very small. I liked that the roms were made of wood. But that also has disadvantage...

Negative: It is VERY noisey. The wood planks creaks at every foot step, so at 2.00 in the morning you hear everything, each step. I mean also from the nighbours of course... they hear you, you will hear them. Also the walls are thin, so using the toilet is also not so private. More so because they did hear you walking there softly as a Ninja, but making noise like an elephant. :) Very small room. Staff in the mornig was a slow and unresponsive. And although there were almost nobody checked in, we were given the worst room I think... marked in the foto. Well, at least nobody was above or on the one side beside us because the noise would have even worse... :) Strangely there was some other couple directly beside us. Instead of putting them further away from us. I think on the "upper level" there was nobody. I never saw anyone, or a drying towel or something. Mismanagament of rooms I think... I think the cottages would have been much nicer and maybe worth it. They were booked already.

Positive: Absolutely fabulous location right on the beach. We loved the accommodation and had a room upstairs with a balcony. The staff were great. Plenty of Sun loungers on the beach and beach towels provided also some shade available from the palm trees. The bed was really comfortable and hot showers available. We would definitely stay again.

Negative: We loved it however it was rustic and cleaning could have been a little better. Not all the food options are available as it is out of season now and food a little expensive compared to other places in Sri Lanka - not sure if that is the case for the whole area as we only ate there for convenience and the waiter was great.

Summary: Amazing location right on the beach.

Positive: Right on the beach and comfortable enough. The room was clean and with a great view.

Negative: The staff were lazy and my room didn’t have loo paper or water and the loo didn’t flush. All this was sorted out quickly but I should not have had to ask. Rooms not cleaned everyday. Breakfast was overpriced and uninspiring.

Summary: Ok-ish with great location. Staff need to go on a training course!
