Summary: We had a GREAT stay! Gojo Samurai Machiya was clean,very quiet, nicely set up, close to both Keihan Main Line Railway and taxis. I especially loved being just three blocks from the Kamo River, wonderful to walk along any time of day. Akiko and Patrick's referrals (esp. from his book 100 Kyoto Sights) were spot-on. Akiko was amazingly quick to respond to questions and the office was very helpful in setting up restaurant reservations.
