Positive: Very welcoming, beautiful clean room, nice to have a bath, although they no longer do meals there is a lovely lounge area you can use with a fridge and microwave, staff extremely helpful. The Mountain View was specular, the area is beautiful. You do need to travel though to eat out, we were not too far from Tyndrum though where there is a lovely choice to eat out. We travel by public transport where possible and this was all very accessible using Citylink. The property is traditional Scottish, we loved it.

Negative: Nothing not to like unless you are looking for food, they make it very clear though, it’s no longer an option so we were aware of this.

Summary: Loved it 😀 it was our anniversary and it the surroundings were perfect.

Positive: Big comfortable rooms with Victorian furnishings adding to dramatic ambience. Location with Mountain View was great and plenty of parking.

Negative: It’s far from anything and nearby Inn serves only till 8.30pm, so you need to plan your meals. We went to Kilchrechnen about half an hour’s drive away which was fabulous. The shower is a bit strange to use.

Summary: Great stop enroute our long journey, meet our needs.

Positive: Had a perfect stay here. Very comfy beds, great location close to the main road but couldn’t hear any cars. Extremely easy check in and perfect night sleep.

Positive: It was near Glencoe which we visited the next day. It was a simple and clear booking process. It had two twin beds which was perfect for my friend & I to share a room.

Negative: The shower pressure was bad which was disappointing. Things seemed clean but dated. The bed was a bit uncomfortable.

Positive: Interesting hotel with a 100 year old history, which can still be seen inside the house and rooms. We regret that there is no more offer of breakfast/dinner because of lack of personal. We wish the owner and his mother all the best that they may succeed in offering it again in the future.

Negative: Attention: when using "Google Maps" only by entering "Glenorchy Lodge" you get a wrong way into Glenorchy valley (B8074 along River Orchy) - so definitely use "Glenorchy Lodge Hotel" to get the right way!
