Positive: The partment is a good size for two people in a fantastic location overlooking the lake. You can hear cars a bit during the day but inthe evening it is super peaceful just looking out over the water. It is very close to the Inn itself for food. Note they don't do breakfast, butthere is a shop within 100m. It is also dog friendly. I was there with the dog and it worked just fine. Note also it's really close to Loch Awe station so you could arrive by train if you wanted.

Negative: The fittings in the bathroom were a little bit flaky, the shower didn't drain quite as well as it could and it took me a while to find the toilet paper but these are tiny things and everything else worked fine.

Positive: very clean and compact self catering apartment with everything you could need. Bed very comfortable and powerful shower. Food in the restaurant was very good. friendly staff.

Negative: Toilet seat was a bit wonky. The sauce with the mussels was a bit insipid.

Positive: I stayed in the "Loch Awe" garden room which was immaculate, well-spec'd, comfortable and had fantastic views over the loch. The pub and restaurant are always brilliant - this was my 4th or 5th time staying or dining there.

Negative: Nothing!

Summary: Fab room, fab dinner, couldn't have asked for more.
