Negative: We went at the height of summer and although aircon would have been great, a portable fan helped

Positive: Location was especially good for me as l needed daily access to Fish Hoek.

Negative: Parking space, but the owners were away for mist of the days so use if their parking space was made available.

Summary: Relaxing, and very comfortable. Able to work virtually thanks to wifi availability.

Positive: Great location within walking distance of beach, tidal pool, wetland walks and supermarkets if you want to stretch your legs. Glencairn is well positioned on the ‘rock’ for easy access to Noordhoek, Simonstown, Kalk Bay, diving in the bay and to Cape Point NP. The aspect allows for early morning dawn watching across False Bay and afternoon shade which is great for summertime. The apartment was well kitted out. friendly dogs were welcome companions and the separate entrance through the garden felt very private. Penny is a lovely host.
