Positive: First, we loved our host, who proactively arranged a ride for us when our train was threatened with a strike. Next, we loved the location in the heart of old Colmar. Third, we loved the high ceilings and warm and elgant decoration. Fourth, we loved the facilities in the kitchen, the thick walls that kept us cool when the temperature outside was soaring, and the clothes washing machine that let us stay fresh without visiting a laundromat. The best gite we have ever seen and the kindest host we will ever encounter!

Positive: Everything was perfect. Nicely decorated in Alsacien spirit with very comfortable bed and all the equipment you could ever think of. So well located in Colmar with quick walk to every Christmas markets and museums. Such a wonderful welcome from Silvana. Highly recommended place.

Positive: We arrived late from our travels and our host greeted us and helped us find a place to park for the evening. We were happy to walk into a lovely decorated apartment with practical amenities. Everything was clean and perfect! From the comfortable bed, to the one and a half bathrooms, to the efficient kitchen, and cozy spacious living/ dining room, and washing machine. We appreciated Silvana’s decorative touches too. The location was great for both walking around Colmar and driving to nearby communities for day trips. My sister-in-law and I highly recommend these fabulous hosts and their beautiful property.

Positive: The position is exceptional, at the start of a pedestrianised area leading to the centre of the city, so there are plenty of shops and restaurants at hand. Silvana met us, showed us around thoroughly (& speaks excellent English and German). The apartment was more spacious than we'd expected and reached via one flight of easy stairs. Excellent facilities and some nice surprises in the fridge when we arrived! Colmar itself is a delight though a little overwhelmed by tourists during the day. We did not have a car but were able to visit nearby villages using local buses (the tourist office has timetables for the various routes, just ask)

Positive: First and foremost, the host Silvana was amazing. So welcoming and informative. The apartment itself is a joy. The attention to detail is superb. Beautiful aspect from the windows. Despite warm weather, the apartment is lovely and cool due to the thick walls. The size of the apartment is great plenty of room, great size kitchen, living area and bedroom. I would highly recommend it as a central location to stay in Colmar with a superb host.

Positive: Silvana and Stephan must be the kindest hosts of any holiday apartment in the world! Truly - their help with our booking and our days in Colmar were exceptional in large thanks to them. Silvana helped me organise my husband’s 70th birthday with recommendations and bookings for us. Stephan picked us up from and took us to the train station which was so very thoughtful. The apartment itself is faultless - and well stocked with everything you’ll need. The queen size bed is comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and there’s a separate toilet with hand basin. The living room is full of seating options and character! Also there’s a gelateria over the road!! Merci beaucoup S&S - love from Tanya and Kevin.

Negative: There was nothing not to like - exactly as described.
