Positive: The house is situated in the quiet place of San Isidro. The neighborhood is quaint and simple. It has everything that one needs – small sari-sari stores, small wet markets, and fruit vendors. As someone who seeks adventures, getting close to North Siargao which is said to be the "soul" of the island, is definitely such a treat. This might be the perfect place for you if you are looking for the same. San Isidro is quite the quiet side of Siargao. Those who travels there really intended to be there which I think is beautiful. 😊 Gelma's House might be your new home in Siargao if you chose to stay there because that's what I felt during my stay. The house is secured, properly gated and fenced. One great note of the house is how spacious it is. The two bedrooms that can occupy two people inside is just fitting and great place to relax after long exploration of the island. The kitchen offers what you need. One electric inductor and few pieces of kitchen materials, all enough if you wish to cook. As a picky traveler, a non-negotiable for me is bathroom which did not disappoint at all. The pressure's great with a hot and cold shower option and a bidet which is a necessity for me. Gelma's House is a surprise! Let it surprise you, fellow Geniuses!

Negative: The place is great, but I would love to suggest few things to make the experience even better. As someone who cooks, it would be more efficient if there is a rice cooker or a steamer perhaps alongside with the one stove induction cooker. Having such would be efficient to the guest if they wish to cook rice and while it happens, they can prepare their meals. Other than that, Gelma's House remains to be a perfect option for your stay in IAO.

Positive: My partner and I absolutely loved everything. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful with all our questions. The house was spacious and had every comfort. The shower had great water pressure and the hot water was consistently strong, which is always appreciated on the island. The location is fantastic, just minutes from Pacifico Beach.
