The Cottage is a beautifully appointed facility with fire place, foxtel, CD player with large collection of CD's. Perfect for a couple wishing to spend a weekend or longer just enjoying the country landscape within the Scenic Rim or more actively engaging in watersports, horseriding, bush walking, mountain climbing, golf and so much more.
Located within a working beef cattle business of Dugandan Droughtmasters. There are horses and cattle grazing at all times in adjoining paddocks.
The Dugandan Pub is just 3 klms away for casual meals and a courtesy bus which for no charge will pick you up and drop you back should you decide to have a few drinks. Quality dining is available in town and at Austin House and at the nearby Karoomba Winery
A horse arena, round yard and horse paddocks are available for use by guests wishing to bring horses to the country for a change of scenery
Also available is sofa bed and stretchers or swag for an extra charge of $50 per couple which covers the laundering of extra linen & towels.

Summary: The host was very welcoming and obliging and the property is in good condition and clean although it has become dated. Admittedly, the decor is in keeping with a farm stay. The property is very peaceful and the scenic countryside was very green after some good rain. There is a beautiful view of the scenic rim mountains which were quite spectacular when there was bright sunshine piercing through dark skies. Unfortunately there is a little or no mobile phone reception and no Internet but for some guest this would be an attraction. It is unfortunate how reliant we have become on an Internet connection for entertainment, especially when it comes to streaming movies and shows.
