Back deck also has a table for outdoor dining, lounge chairs and outdoor couch. Private front courtyard has BBQ and also a deck with outdoor comfy chairs and ottomans, to put your feet up, and enjoy the views of the front vineyard, barn with mules and goats, vegetable garden and lake. Casper bed is beyond comfortable. Sofa bed (in living room) also has a comfortable therapeutic mattress. You won’t want to leave!

Summary: We celebrated my husband's birthday by staying here and taking day trips to Mendocino and various redwood groves. The cottage is so special--the photos can't even capture how lovely it is. From the cobblestoned entrance and patio to the very pretty bedroom/comfy bed and fully (I mean FULLY) outfitted kitchen, all was perfect. Melinda and Jerry gave us complete privacy but were available around the clock for our silly questions about dining, where to go for runs, how to work the AC, etc. The only thing to note is that there is an adjoining rental that shares the hot tub and patio off the bedroom, so worth asking if you want complete privacy. Bonus #1: saw the Starlink night show on our last evening, which was creepy but also pretty spectacular! Bonus #2: Miss Pickles. Thank you Melinda and Jerry for a magical visit and birthday celebration!

Summary: Melinda and Jerry were amazing. The cottage was so cute, comfortable and very clean. The animals on the property were so friendly and were a perfect place to recharge. Would definitely stay here again!

Summary: This was such a nice place to stay. We were there for a week and had everything we needed. The bed was nice and fluffy and the jaccuzi was nice and hot! Loved watching the duck family.

Summary: After traveling throughout California my wife and I found this property the most relaxing. Overlooking a lake on one side and vineyard on the other we found the location felt like we were at a 5 star resort. The landscaping was professionally finished and peaceful with running water throughout. The hot tub overlooking the lake was very tranquil. There was kayaks for use on lake but it was a little cool in April. An outside grill and fully stocked kitchen gave us option to cook our meals and enjoy in relaxing setting outside or in. The bed was comfortable with heating pad on mattress. The host was very responsive to any question we had. Thanks Melinda and Jerry for sharing your property with us.

Summary: I had a wonderful stay at this property! The property is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and a truly majestic feel. Melinda is a fantastic host—so thoughtful and communicative—and Jerry is incredibly kind. The grounds are perfect for a peaceful stroll, and having a market nearby made everything so convenient. The unit itself is well-equipped with all the essentials, and I especially loved the large TV in the living room and the super comfortable bed. I highly recommend this place and we will surely be back to stay again!

Summary: My partner and I loved this place! Came here just for the weekend and wished we could stay longer. The property is beautiful and unique, and it was a treat to see all the animals and friendly dog. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked, and the bed was very comfortable. Nice getaway!

Summary: What a beautiful property! We loved waking up, making a cup of coffee in the keurig (coffee provided by the hosts), and walking outside to watch the birds. During the hot days, we loved taking a dip in the pool. And at night, we relaxed in the hot tub looking up at the stars! We will definitely be returning!

Summary: This is our third (or fourth) time staying at Melinda's property. This is our GO TO spot when visiting family in Mendocino County.
