Positive: Amazing stay at Lake View for August Bank Holiday. Spotlessly clean and comfortable.Just perfect for some R & R. Great location with amazing views. Weather was fantastic too so got the chance to sit out on the spacious decking area.
Negative: As a light sleeper, some road noise could be heard from A59 but hubby and friends who stayed with us didn't hear a thing.

Negative: We found the beds a bit uncomfortable- mattress soft and beds quite low in smaller bedroom. Mattress dipped in en-suite bedroom. BUT that is the only negative and would visit again as every other aspect was excellent.

Positive: Location is amazing and so handy for both Whalley and Clitheroe. We have family nearby, so was an ideal location for us. Whoever cleans this lodge is an absolute stickler for detail and it is absolutely spotless. Very, very impressive. The views are stunning and it is so peaceful.

Positive: Location looking over the lake and also not too far away from Clitheroe and Whalley. Very comfortable lodge and just about everything we needed. It was cosy in very cold outside temperatures.
Negative: Nothing. We had no water one morning but it was nothing to do with the lodge or owners the whole site was affected. Think it was the low temperature. The owner kept us updated which was great.
Summary: Fabulous chilled break
