Positive: Our host was very responsive and responded very quickly to any inquiries we had. The apartment is very pleasant and the kitchen is fully stocked with coffee and tea, snacks, spices and seasonings. There's also a wonderful assortment of cooking equipment and pots and pans. Everything is there so you can pretty much cook anything you like. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood on a tree-lined street. Very peaceful yet just a short walk to the Blue line train that would take you in to Chicago. I'd stay here again!

Negative: The apartment has three rooms; a kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom. There is an air conditioning unit in the window in the living room, but it's not strong enough to reach the bedroom and kitchen areas. It was very warm during our stay, and although there was a fan to use, it was sometimes difficult to sleep because of the heat. It was also difficult to eat at the kitchen table because of the heat. The only room that was truly comfortable in the evenings was the living room.

Positive: Artist/owners paintings and books. Record player. Nice back porch. Good whole bean coffee. Wonderful location. Nice bath and comfortable bed.

Negative: Stairs up while carrying things were a little challenging.
