Positive: On arrival the host greeted us and was very warm and welcoming. Once we were in the property we found she had set out cups and facilities for a welcoming brew up along with some home made flapjacks which very much hit the spot. The location is better than we could have hoped for. Zero light pollution for night sky photography and so far from anywhere that traffic noise did not exist, nor any other noise for that matter. All the time we were there, the only sound we heard was the occasional bleat from the residents in the next field.

Summary: If you need a quiet relaxing break, this is one place I can highly recommend.

Positive: Outstanding place!!!! Highly recommend. Communication on where to go, how to get in was great. Host met me as soon as I arrived. Lovely place in a lovely location. Will definitely be going back. It was a 4 day walking trip with a friend so location was spot on. Wifi was brilliant as I had to work at the same time.

Positive: beautiful location. nice to be in an ‘upside down’ house to give the views. comfortable property with enough room for the three of us.

Negative: took a small dog who we had to keep a close eye on as the property is next to a sheep field with just a farm gate between us which he could get under.
