Summary: Good accommodation with all essentials. Pellet stove kept everything warm and dry; kitchen, though basic, had everything we needed to cook for four. Nearest supermarket 15 minutes away in Albert - great place for exploring WW1 battlefields and museums.

Summary: Ideal base for touring the Somme battlefields. Had everything we needed, close to Albert and a wide range of restaurants. Easy access on arrival, good communication. I did find it surprising that there was a 40 Euro cleaning charge payable in cash payable as standard. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the property if you are looking for a base to tour out off

Summary: First problem was finding it! Sat Nav got the house number right! Our landlord said he had had the same experience. A rough guide - main roads, signposts etc.might have been useful. Gite was well equipped, but gadget instructions would have been appreciated. The pellet stove was very effective but very smelly ( am asthma sufferer). But there was also a good electric radiator. Had some problems with a dodgy oven ( guide rails very unsteady, tray tended to tip at the back) Helpful owner, pleasant village with lots of guard dogs.
