Positive: Everything! The gorgeous outdoor shower was such a treat, highly recommend! Sipping wine in the tub really topped it off. This retreat has been crafted with love and it shows. We loved everything about this stay and will definitely be back.

Positive: Lots of individual little huts make up the full accommodation which is really unique and so much thought into the design of each. The outdoor shower is gorgeous! Overall super cosy, great location and lots of little extra touches. Really appreciated the use of bikes too

Positive: Nice location. Set up is very homely and rustic.

Negative: The bad weather makes this stay almost impractical. When we arrived, the weather was brilliant, but went downhill for the rest of our stay.

Positive: Beautiful secluded location surrounded by trees, flowers and birdsong. Huts were so beautifully made and finished off with great detail. Bedroom was gorgeous, bed was comfortable. Deck was perfect for morning cuppa. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances etc and loved the extra touches of homemade jam and the extras. Toilet was clean and private. Outdoor shower was the best water pressure and just a gem with its view. Loved the outdoor bath with the extra’s and the view. All the little extra lights, bean bags and my favourite vases of flowers made it extra special. Hosts Julie & Tony were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in the Hawkes Bay we spent 4 nights and will definitely go back.

Positive: We chose this place primarily for the location as it is a perfect spot to visit the surrounding area and visit the local wineries. It was so idyllic though that we actually just stayed there for 2 days and enjoyed all that the accommodation has to offer. Unique and special.

Positive: Lovely property with a great view. 15-20 minute drive from the city. Perfectly located between the city and the Gannet colony. Facilities were clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

Negative: Not really a bad thing but the lock for the bathroom was on the outside.
