Positive: We loved this cozy, homey hotel! We came there as a family and felt very welcomed. The service was excellent, they had an extra big table prepared for us at breakfast each morning. We enjoyed the garden and a stroll at the nearby antique market. If we are ever around again,we would love to stay here again!

Negative: Although the bedrooms were cozy, there could be a little improvement regarding the dust.

Positive: Location was why we chose it. We had a morning funeral at Maldon next morning

Negative: There were no staff in house - everything done by emails and notes. A lady did come to cook an average breakfast in the morning. Room had paper thin walls and our neighbours were noisy from 11am - deciding to shower at midnight! Room could have been cleaner - it’s the little things!

Summary: Disappointing stay at Frasers - noisy because walls too thin, cleanliness could be improved.

Positive: Me and my husband had a lovely one night stay. Georgie checked us in and showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know. We had a twin room, which was small and cosy, with a tv and tea/coffee making facility. Everything was spotless and the beds were really comfortable - best night’s sleep I’ve had for ages! Breakfast was amazing, we both had the full English, which was cooked to perfection, but there were quite a lot of other hot choices if you didn’t want that. Also cereals and fruit were there to serve yourself. The coffee was the best we’ve had in a hotel!

Negative: Would have been nice to have more than one cup of coffee with breakfast!

Summary: Friendly atmosphere, lovely room and delicious breakfast.

Negative: Very noisy with other guests moving around until late. Little things were a bit annoying like no mixer tap, basic TV and the lino wasn’t stuck down in the bathroom. I’m sure it’s lovely in summer with a big garden but in winter there’s just a room to stay in.

Summary: It was ok, but I don’t understand why the reviews are outstanding

Negative: Unfortunately twin room very cramped, bathroom floor needs attention. TV remote didn’t work unless you were close to TV. Bed nearest wall very uncomfortable.

Summary: Have stayed a few times before which was fine, but this time on arrival front door open, phone calls remained unanswered
