In the area of Piazza della Signoria and Piazza Santa Croce. At the second and unique floor, in Via Vinegia n. 2, a small and very quiet road in a pedestrian area, this lovely and particular apartment has been completely restored and decorated with taste and care for any expectations you may have.
One the same floor we own and rent another unit, the Simona (ref 11170759)
The apartment is at a second floor (first floor in Italy), there is NO LIFT but only 14 steps up from the road.
High quality linens and towels, double pillows for each guests, duvets on the beds..
My sister and I take high pleasure to ensure our guests the best staying by taking care of you since your very first enquiry to your departure..
We own and manage personally both apartments so you'll always be checked-in by one of us and we'll be avaialble for you any time for any question, help or need you may have..
Both apartments (the Francesca and the Simona) belong to an ancient bulding dated back to the XV century and share a private entrance from the road, in front of the magnificent stonewall of the medieval S. Remigio Church, in one of the oldest and most famous area of Florence.
The apartments can be booked together and can accomodate up to 10 guests.
The location is so central that you can easily get back home any time of the day for a quick rest or a bite and go out again to visit this magnificent city.
With all kind of shops just around the corner (litterally!!) and Piazza della Signoria at 1 minute walk, these properties are really in the centre of the centre!
With some of the best restaurants, ice-cream, fresh pasta, street food an coffee bar just around the corner you'll be able to enjoy your staying with no efforts trying to find out where you can have the best ice-cream of Florence!!
The apartment has its own heating and a/c system
Beds will be arranged with the best quality linens and duvet.
Linens/towels changes are provided for rentals longer than 8 nights

History and leisure: The entire historical centre of Florence has been declared World Heritage by the UNESCO and Via Vinegia is just in the middle of it! All the major sites are within walking distance: Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi Gallery, Ponte vecchio, The Duomo, The magnificent church of Santa Croce: everything is just around the corner.
And if you like to try the very best food you have a choice of restaurants and, most of all, you are at 10 min. walking from one of the oldest and most famous market in Florence, The Sant'Ambrogio market where you can buy the most exquisite traditional food.. and as far as ice-cream is concerned, Vivoli (the most famous one) is at 3 min walking
Via de Neri, the road at 20 mt from Via Vinegia is full of all kind of shops: groceries, take away, chemistry, fruiters, ice-cream, bakeries, mini market, bars, laundry...
Anything you may need is just around the corner!
Car: The centre of Florence is closed to car with specific rules. We suggest you NOT TO ARRIVE WITH A CAR if you can. You won't need (and you won't be allowed too) to use it during your staying in the city. But in case you should have it, we will be glad to give you all the informations you may need for entering and parking in this area.

Summary: We are a family of 2 adults and 3 kids (17,15.11) and we all adored our stay at this property. We had a double bed in one room and the kids were in 3 x singles in the other room with their own ensuite. Separate lounge area was perfect to chill out in. Checkin was simple and owner was easy to communicate with and highly responsive. Highly recommend as also great location.

Summary: Simona has a great flat near the Uffizi. Comfortable and beautifully appointed, near everything. We went to the Loggia Roof Bar in Santo Spirito, had a great dinner at Antico Ristoro di Cambi on.other side of the Arno.

Summary: To celebrate our 55th anniversary with our daughter & husband. This property is an excellent location to everything you want to see and do in Florence. Our hostess Simona welcomed us and provided excellent information, tips and arranged a taxi back to the airport. The only thing to be aware of is the AC in. The bedrooms is not very strong. Small problem. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in this 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. Simona was the perfect host! We were early for check in and Simona met us at the property, made sure it had been cleaned appropriately, and allowed us to enter early. She provided accurate and fabulous details for parking, and we parked in a garage just steps from our door. The apartment was exactly as advertised, clean, and comfortable, decorated with beautiful furniture and family heirlooms. The location is absolutely perfect, in walking distance from everything! I would highly recommend this property and will definitely stay again next time we visit Florence!

Summary: We were very excited about this apartment based on the listing and were not disappointed. It is a beautiful flat which met the needs of our family of five. Beds were comfortable and temperature was cool on hot July summer days. The location could not be better as it is minutes walk from Piazza Della Signoria, Uffizi gallery and Ponte Vecchio. Both Francesca and Simona were very easy to communicate with and answered any question we had promptly. We would recommend this unit to anybody travelling to Florence.

Summary: I can't say enough wonderful things about this property and about Simona. The location was simply idyllic, with delicious food, coffee and gelato just steps/minutes away... and yet we were tucked away on a quiet little side street and were literally never bothered by noise. We felt safe and secure in our sweet apartment, which is super important to me as a Mama. We were a only 5 minute walk from the Uffizi, and even walking home from the Duomo... with kids... in a hundred-degree heat wave... in July, it felt like we were always close to home. Speaking of the heat wave, the apartment was cool, comfortable and a welcome reprieve when we needed rest. Simona is a treasure, and honestly my only concern about leaving this review is knowing that the more people learn about this jewel of a property, the harder it will likely be for me to rebook it for a future trip. Ha. Don't think twice - this is your place!!! ((Also - do me a favor, and go to Gelateria dei Neri at least once. It's been my favorite for 20+ years.))

Summary: Simona was amazing, she treated us like family. She assisted us in getting to Florence during a train strike. Something we never could have done without Italian and not understanding the system. Her place was amazing, way beyond our expectations and perfect for our family of 4. It had everything we needed and more, very well equipped. It was immaculately clean,I felt like i wss usung a brand new bathrooms, kitchen also immaculate and well air-conditioned in the heat. I woud definitely recommend for 2 coyples or a family

Summary: The location of this apartment is fantastic! It is right in the middle of things and a short walk from all the major tourist sites but is also quiet and tucked in a small side street. Simona was well organized and thorough and very easy to communicate with. The apartment is well stocked, comfortable and very chic. Every detail was considered including coffee, umbrellas to borrow, shampoo and even a treat and water bottle left for us to enjoy. We enjoyed this stay fully - would highly recommend
