Positive: We loved the little details and artistic touches. There was a well equipped kitchen, games, outdoor furniture and space to sit together in the kitchen and living room. Clearwell is a lovely village and a great base for the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean. Two pubs and an amazing restaurant within a short walk.

Positive: Everything, the cottage was beautiful and well equipped. Very quiet and peaceful. Close to Clearwell Castle which was great as went there for our nieces wedding. Just loved everything about it.

Negative: No little local shop, but wouldn't stop me going again.

Positive: This was one of the loveliest places we have stayed. The house and furnishings were beautiful and it had everything we needed and more. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog and the location was great for exploring the forest. Any questions were answered immediately. We hope to return!

Positive: It was like going to a lovely relatives home. Very welcoming and fully equipped with everything you could need. Kitchen has lots of crockery etc snd all the small touches like tea coffee biscuits oils dishwasher tablets etc. Had arts and crafts activities, a great sunny garden with outdoor furniture. Great location with pubs and walks nearby. Lots of information about walks and tourist attractions. The sofa in the sitting room was the most comfortable I’ve ever sat on. There is shampoo and body wash in the bathrooms and it’s the best holiday cottage I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in a lot!
