Positive: the property was fairly secluded and in a very peaceful location. very little traffic in the general area so you have these fantastic roads all to yourself at least. there was even a large terrace (aka "sunnyview" tho the sunny part was debatable at least for our time there :-) this terrace (when the weather is nicer) would incredibly lovely to relax or eat on. there is a fantastic view overlooking the valley from the terrace too!. we also went in autumn so the vicinity is simply breathtaking late october early november (when it wasn't raining :-). lastly, the property is VERY well equipped, even has a cafetiere and some coffee ready to be made. really made us feel like we were in our home away from home and it shows a lot of thought went in. even has a 2nd bedroom with two twins if you are coming as a family!

Negative: the last few roadways are quite narrow to get to the property but that's the price to be paid for having a nice remote location (luckily we only once had someone trying to come the way in the 4 days we were there). the final road near the property gate also is slightly angled/humped, so when you have a low sports car you have to be careful or you could scrape the bottom, as i did, but i figured out how to avoid that happening after the first time, so certainly not a deal breaker. also the switch in the bedroom by the bed for the overhead lights was wired strangely (if you turn the lights on there, you won't be able to turn it off by the doorway, but this was more of a quirk than an actual issue). also it rained quite a lot but hardly the property's fault.

Summary: fantastic place and quite affordable for all you're getting, great value for money!

Positive: Firstly many thanks to Julian and Sandra for making us very welcome. On arrival we found a selection of beer , wine and biscuits along with a postcard as a thank you for staying with them. Accommodation clean and tidy with everything we needed. Great view from the rear decking area. Beds were very comfortable . If you want quiet break I’d recommend a visit.

Negative: The only slight negative from our point of view was the EV charger was out of action during our stay. However the hosts gave us information on various locations nearby.

Summary: Extremely quiet and comfortable accommodation, the owners made us very welcome.

Positive: Peaceful, private and had everything you needed to cook and relax. The books and games were great to dip into and made the annexe feel homely. Stunning view and great for watching the weather, trees swoosh, birds etc.. The hosts were incredibly helpful but respected our privacy too. We loved the area - Kray Golf, Bathhurst Lido and walking were all good fun and excellent value for money.

Negative: The roads are narrow but lovely for pootling around slowly - we were glad we brought our smaller car.
