Magic Castle is a spacious, open and airy two bedroom villa perched on the side of a valley overlooking Little Bay Beach, Guana Island, and the Caribbean Sea. This red tile roofed far-eastern pagoda is like a fairy tale from another land. Magic Castle is surrounded by a 2 1/2 acre estate of tropical gardens and natural woodlands, entered by electronic gate and long shaded driveway. Organic fruit and vegetables grow on the property in season, and shared.

The entrance opens into the living and dining areas, with a well equipped gourmet kitchen. Doors open all around onto the garden-edged pool terrace and wide, covered al fresco dining deck. Soaring vaulted ceilings throughout add to the expansive feeling. Very breezy. There are ceiling fans in every room.

The Master Bedroom Pavilion is separated from the rest of the villa by a sparkling 8x30 ft. SOLAR HEATED swimming pool and is wrapped by a covered and uncovered deck with hammock and seating areas enjoying the magnificent panoramic view. Screen sliders on opposite sides of the room allow the balmy Caribbean breezes to pass across the pool and right over the King size bed in the middle of the large room. Adjacent is the Hot Tub, romantic under the sun or stars. All private.

A second bedroom and bath is located in the main house where either twins or a king bed can be requested. Relaxing and comfortable, this Magical setting is perfect for couples or small families. Children over 8 years old welcome.

The Little Bay Beach, just below, has been declared the best beach on Tortola by my guests. Usually deserted except for weekends. It is a few minutes walk or drive downhill. Many excellent restaurants, grocery stores, shopping and water sports activities are within 5-10 minutes drive. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended. Most rental cars are 4WD.

The owner/manager of Magic Castle and her elusive cat Ming and good and very friendly watchdogs Benny and Billy live in an apartment below the villa behind a curtain of flowering vines. No part of the villa can be seen from there, assuring your privacy. Nor can sounds be heard in either direction. She's there with a wealth of local information if you have questions.

Summary: Magic Castle is Sublime! Peaceful, views to die for, beautiful home, and close to several secluded beaches. Our family of grandma, son, and two teenaged grandchildren were only there for a few days after spending a week sailing but we didn't want to leave. The hottub and pool were used, sometimes several times a day. The kitchen is large and we'll stocked, the furnishings from around the world lovingly displayed. Eva is a wonderful, caring host. She made sure we had everything we needed, showed us around her garden, and made us welcome. Be sure to check out Little Bay Beach, 5 minutes away, and Josiah's beach, a 10 minute drive; both are quiet, sandy beaches with hardly a soul around!

Summary: We've been to the BVI many times before for yacht charters, but this is the first time we stayed on land and looked out at the water. We may never charter again! The Magic Castle Villa has the "million dollar view" you always dream of and the grounds and accommodations couldn't be better. As if that wasn't enough Eva was the perfect hostess - making sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed while on Tortola. On our last morning we half jokingly told her that we weren't going to leave and that she was going to have to make other arrangements for the couple coming in that afternoon and although we grudgingly ended up packing our bags and heading to our flight we can't wait to get back again!

Summary: Eva was a great host who on very short notice got the property ready for us. The house was very clean. The views were incredible, the pool and hot tub were both in great condition. The hike down to the beach was not bad at all and make sure to take time to do it!

Summary: Our family of 4 stay at the Magic Castle. It was truly the best place we have ever stayed. There are so many wonderful things about this house and property. We loved the pool, hot tub, walking to the beach (nobody was ever there but us!), great kitchen, comfortable beds, and coffee in the hammock. The view is spectacular. The host Eva, was wonderful as well. Our family loved getting to know her and her 2 dogs. She is around if you need her and want her (we did!), but if that is not your thing you -wouldn’t know she was there. We can’t wait to go back-it is peaceful and just what our family needed. Thank you Eva!

Summary: We visited the Magic Castle Villa for 5 nights, just my husband and I, and our 8-year-old son. There are so many great things to write about. We used the pool every day - between beach outings when we'd come back for lunch we would take a dip, even at night when we came back in and called it a day. The hot tub was impeccably clean! - also used daily by us. The outdoor deck space is both highly functional and provides stunning views! We ate breakfast on the large oval dining table to start every morning and took reading breaks in the hammock. Both beds were comfortable. The kitchen is HUGE and so fun to cook in. There are lots of kitchen supplies - all appliances, toaster/oven/microwave/coffee maker, and we used every one. Eva also has spices, sauces, and other food items to use. Eva showed us around the property grounds - such a special property she has. She is very resourceful and eco-friendly. Besides the fantastic host and house, Little Bay Beach was our favorite beach stop on the island. We had the entire beach to ourselves each time we went. The sand is perfect, no seaweed, and no rocks in the ocean.... swim for hours and step on nothing! Very serene and special, and just down the private road from Eva's house. The home's location provides easy road access whether you want to head east or west if going out for a drive. We will never forget our Tortola trip because of our exceptional lodging! Thank you Eva!
