Positive: very beautiful, the dog and cats were accommodating, the staff is exceptional! they really went out of their way to arrange car transfers for us and the shuttle service to zhangjiajie national forest park was a great option for a family like us to have, breakfast is good.

Negative: the heater was not working properly on our first night but they made up by getting us a portable heater which worked perfectly fine! they were really hospitable and the room was amazing.

Positive: Good location, nice architecture of the hotel and furniture in the room. Hospitable staff.

Negative: Everything was mostly excellent, but I noticed some badly connected cables under my bed (motion sensors that turn on the light). Good idea but need some more work to do.

Positive: Amazing location, amazing views. They went out of their way to accommodate a member of our party who was in a wheelchair. Responded at all hours when we needed something. So friendly and service-oriented. Facilities were all new and clean.

Positive: We stayed at Foggy Valley in the mountains of Zhangjiajie and were absolutely impressed. The most amazing part of this place is the hospitality and level of service. We were treated with genuine care and attention — it truly felt like the staff cared about our experience, not just doing their job. The view from the window deserves a special mention — it is absolutely worth every penny. Waking up surrounded by mountains and mist was unforgettable. The hotel’s interior was also a big surprise: stylish, well thought-out, and very atmospheric. Staying here felt like a unique experience, not just another hotel stay. The reception team helped us plan a wonderful mountain route, assisted with buying tickets, explained everything in detail, and even gave us small gifts, which was incredibly kind and unexpected. Overall, the experience exceeded all our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend Foggy Valley to anyone who wants to truly experience Zhangjiajie with comfort, beauty, and sincere hospitality.

Positive: - Good Location close to the parc - staff is very friendly, though you can see lack of professionality (normal in China) - free pick up in a very nice comfortable car - free drop off to the parc - sauna in the room

Negative: - Welcome area is more like a Garage - room wasn’t cleaned well (strong smell from the toilet, mirror with a lot of stains) - restaurant is not heated and very small (breakfast area was very busy when we were there) - breakfast choice was very average (toast, egg and fruits was good though and enough for me) - no TV and radio Bluetooth didn’t work

Positive: Nice old Chinese style property. Upper floor rooms have good view. Dinner is good if you like Chinese meals, nice private rooms for dinner.
