Positive: There was a warm cosy welcome to the cottage with a lovely bunch of flowers and xmas decorations. An amazing range and all facilities you would need for your stay, not far from lots of places to visit. I always go fully prepared as you're never sure what be be provided, but this was the best equipped that we've stayed at, would definitely return and recommend. We found 2 pubs off the main roads that were very welcoming. Early winter is always a good time of year to visit the cotswolds with the wood burners going. There is now a larger free-standing TV in the property, which is much better for the size of the room, (not the small wall mounted one in the photos) Dog throws included and bowls and treats for them and a home made cake for the guests. Superb.

Negative: Should have removed the fire starter dish off the burner as the heat caused the fire lighters to give off unpleasant fumes. May be an idea to keep them in a sealed sandwich box on hearth behind wood. Nieve on our part maybe, but not something we have the pleasure to have at home, so didn't realise this would happen. There was nothing we didn't like.

Positive: The peaceful surrounds and great view was perfect. We were a group of ladies of an age where home comforts were essential and this property more than provided… games, beautiful comfortable beds and sofas and a stunning open kitchen area.. we were left some gorgeous lemon drizzle and bits and we truly had a most memorable weekend and were blessed with good weather..

Negative: Nothing not to love

Summary: We would not hesitate to stay here again .. highly recommended and it got 10/10 from all of us

Positive: Perfect base for our family to explore the cotwolds from. Beautifully warm with under floor heating and log burners. Well equipped kitchen everything we needed to knock up evening meals after days exploring.

Negative: The bed in the downstairs bedroom nearest bathroom has dipped near the pillow end making a bit of an uncomfortable sleep. Hot water ran put in shower but my kids do spend a long time showering!!

Positive: open plan, lot’s of really hot water, garden room with under floor heating and easy access to garden for our dogs, log burner with starter kit , gas range,welcome goodies, enclosed garden, dog friendly, parking and in walking distance to services/ shop.

Negative: some road noise from dual carriageway. We visited at the beginning of November, unfortunately the heating made a clunking noise through the night. Extra pillows would be useful.

Summary: Cosy family Barn , very dog friendly and only a short drive to Cirencester.
