Positive: If you are looking for a lovely cabin, nestled in the trees, birds singing, close enough to the city of Cashiers, but not in the middle of it, this is the place. Lovely cabin, very comfortably decorated with everything you might need. The owner checked in with us a couple of times to make certain we were pleased (stayed 5 nights) grilled steaks on the porch, lovely firepit too. The cutest little wren had a nest above us when we sat in rocking chairs on the porch for coffee or a glass of wine. Cashiers is about a 7 min drive away, with terrific shops and restaurants. Highlands about 25 min with even more terrific shops and restaurants. Then returning to the cabin is the peacefulness of the Nantahala forest. The beds are very comfortable, soft linens, kitchen well equipped. We cooked breakfast every morning and then slowly slid into the day. Many waterfalls close by too. To sum it up, if you are due some lovely, quiet, downtime with the option of going into Cashiers and the surrounding areas at your leisure, Heavenly Bearadise will fit your needs.

Negative: Maybe better signage indicating the entrance.

Positive: We loved the location! The secluded cabin in the heart of the Nantahala National Forest made us feel like we were in our own little paradise & it was a perfect escape from the busy hustle and bustle of every day life. It was nice to enjoy the peace, tranquility, and quiet, but also be able to have a 5-minute ride into town for groceries or dinner. The interior of the home is beautiful and the many personal/sentimental details made us feel right at home! We loved it & will definitely be going back! The owners of the home were very kind and helpful & made us feel like family just through text communication!

Positive: The location was really convenient to lots of hikes and beautiful drives. I also really enjoyed having the opportunity for a fire which was wonderful in the cold weather. The availability of having a full kitchen was great for cooking and making late night cookies.

Negative: Some of the heater knows we're not labeled and so you have to fidget with them until the go off.

Summary: A wonderful winter stay in a wonderful cabin.
