Positive: Booked this to visit Hever castle, so location was excellent. Hotel was comfortable and clean, good room size but small tired bathroom. Good breakfast.

Negative: Visited on Valentine's night so am assuming staff under pressure not one smile during visit, receptionist very curt when enquiring about a dinner reservation, same response about spa. Same attitude from staff at breakfast. Booked a twin and a double room but got two doubles which I didn't raise issue with due to the staff.

Positive: Rooms were well done out, bed was comfortable, communal area were very nice and staff very friendly.

Negative: Jacuzzi not working in the spa. Fridge was not emptied from previous customers and bottles and glasses left along corridors.

Positive: From arrival FAB warm welcome, friendly and caring (Helen). Hotel Bar lady (Madie) welcoming, helpful and fun. Room was superb and my Wife's little Birthday touch in the room was lovely. Breakfast was excellent and staff could not do enough. Fully recommend and will defo go back.

Negative: With respect (because our stay was Top Draw and staff were AWESOME). The only 'constructive' observations were: 1. No lighting provided (seen/noted) over the sinks and while using the mirrors? 2. Bathroom was a tad cold lol - No Towel Rail to take the edge off.

Summary: From arrival to departure we were warmly welcomed, helped and thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
