Summary: Hartelijk ontvangen in een net huisje. Klein stukje rijden en je zit in de gezelligste dorpjes. Huiseigenaar is een bierkenner, verkoopt ook div streekbiertjes. Enige nadeel is dat de woonkamer van het huisje direct is verbonden met het huis van de eigenaren waardoor de indruk ontstaat dat je elkaar erg goed kunt horen.

Summary: We used the cottage as a base to tour the World War 1 battlefields. The cottage was sited close to Poperinge but was not too far away from Ieper or the area around Passchendaele. It provided us with an ideal opportunity to visit World War 1 cemeteries, trenches and some excellent museums. If you are not in Belgium because of the war, you are still situated close to numerous towns and you are not too far away from the Belgium coast. The cottage is part of a complex on a working farm. It was rural but not too far away from inhabited areas. Children will love the experience of being on the farm. We were made most welcome by the owner. She was there to assist with you any problems but at no time was she intrusive. We will definitely return to this cottage in the future if the opportunity arises.
