Summary: Nostalgie in een oud lemen boerderijtje in een uiterst landelijke omgeving. Zo rustig gelegen en zo'n stilte tijdens de nacht. Geweldig om te onthaasten en volledig tot rust te komen. Zelfs je hoofd stoten tegen de lage deuropeningen kan je niet deren op zo'n moment.

Summary: We kwamen door omstandigheden een dag later, maar het was allemaal goed geregeld. Verwarming en lichten aan. De communicatie met de eigenaresse was prima. Het is een pittoresk oud huisje midden in het boerenland. Een nadeel is dat we elke nacht gestoord werden door een marter die boven onze slaapkamer zat te knagen. Hier zit je niet op te wachten in je vakantie. Toen we dit aan de eigenaresse vertelde was dit geen nieuws voor haar. Het beest zit er al 3 jaar in de wintermaanden. Dit soort informatie had ik graag van tevoren geweten. We komen nl. om uit te rusten in de stilte van het Belgische platteland na een jaar hard werken. Verder is het een huis met een tuin waar honden heerlijk kunnen vertoeven. Geen probleem, maar wel dat er in de tuin drollen van de honden van vorige bewoners lagen. Echt vies. Zeker als je kinderen hebt die in de tuin rondlopen. De hottub is heerlijk

Summary: We werden vriendelijk en gastvrij ontvangen. Het lange pad naar het huisje toe was erg modderig en de auto gleed een beetje weg in de bocht voor het huis. Wel een fijne rustige ligging met optimale privacy. Erg knus huis en grote goed omheinde tuin. De deurposten zijn wel echt laag. Enkele hoofdstoten loop je al snel op. De bank zit heerlijk. Het tweepersoonsbed is doorgezakt in het midden. De douche is mooi van design maar de waterdruk is minimaal. De omgeving is ons tegen gevallen. Sombere dorpjes. Winkels en restaurants dicht tussen 12.00 en 13.30 uur en de restaurants in de buurt zijn op maandag en dinsdag helemaal gesloten.

Summary: De accomodatie is geweldig. Heel comfortabel lekker bed, mooie goede keuken, mooie meubels, lekkere loungebank, authentiek, mooie schouw en heerlijke badkamer. Goed verwarmbaar, lekker donker te maken in de slaapkamer voor het slapen met een luik. Heerlijke goed verzorgde tuin met leuke zitjes en heel veel privacy! En lekker trampoline springen! De communicatie met de eigenaar verliep prettig en alles was goed geregeld. Veel leuke folders en wandelkaarten, hebben we veel aan gehad. De omgeving is nl prachtig met het boerenlandschap, landelijk en de leuke stad Ieper en de heuvels. We hebben heerlijk gewandeld langs de Ijzer. Ook erg veel te zien over de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Erg indrukwekkend en zeer leerzaam. Vreemd dat we in Nederland zo weinig daarvan weten, het is allemaal om de hoek gebeurd. De Westhoek heeft het qua toerisme goed op orde veel goed aangeduide wandelpaden, fietspaden en alles heel duidelijk over musea WW1. En natuurlijk vergeten we het bier niet! De fel begeerde flessen van Sint Sixtus Abdij in Westvleteren, en nog vele andere bierbrouwerijen en het Hopmuseum in Poperinge! Het hop en gerst groeit overal om je heen. We waren zeer aangenaam verrast over deze streek die nog heel rustig is! Leuk voor mensen die rust zoeken, maar tegelijkertijd gun ik de bevolking de waardering van deze mooie streek. Maar houd er dus rekening mee dat de horeca door de weeks niet altijd open is. In alle opzichten een aanrader.

Summary: Bij aankomst was de gastvrouw nog bezig met schoonmaak. Vriendelijke ontvangst en veel tips gekregen over de streek. Schitterend 17e eeuws boerderijtje met bakhuisje. Een mooie tuin, goed omheind zodat onze hond veilig naar buiten kon. Bepaalde zaken mogen wat mij betreft wel wat meer aandacht( koffiezetapparaat, bed, afvalemmertje). Het is voor lange mensen echt uitkijken vanwege de lage deurposten( de laagste is slechts 1.63 hoog).Wij hebben een aantal keren flink onze hoofden gestoten maar na een paar dagen doe je als vanzelf je hoofd op tijd naar beneden..Bakkertje, beenhouwer en Delhaize op 2.2km..prima te lopen!

Summary: Ontvangst was goed, duidelijke uitleg. Het boerderijtje is echt super schattig, van alle gemakken voorzien en de tuin is geweldig, geheel omheind dus de hond kon lekker scharrelen. Het ligt aan het einde van de weg, geen verkeer komt er voorbij. Vanaf het huisje loop je zo het bos in waar je mooie wandelingen kunt maken.
