Positive: Lovely peaceful location with many facilities and very secure with gates. Even though Steven has been running this business for some years he still can’t do enough for you and was always available if we needed anything. He also sorted car hire with car dropped off and collected which made life easier.

Negative: Nothing.

Positive: It’s was very well maintained. Peaceful and chilled. Steven was very accommodating and happy to help if you needed anything. Supermarkets also close by which was great.

Negative: Nothing I didn’t like except that you probably need a car to get anywhere unless like me you don’t mind the peace and quiet.

Positive: We loved our stay at Farm of Dreams - it is a little slice of homely tranquillity a short walk from Almancil, where there are plenty of top quality supermarkets and some really good restaurants. We were hosted by Steven and Teresa - the owners of the Farm of Dreams, and Steven met us at the gate for our arrival with a warm welcome and a tour of the accommodation. The communication before our arrival was excellent and Steven and Teresa had done a shop for us and loaded up the fridge - including a Birthday cake & Bubbles to help us celebrate a Birthday. The whole place was set up well for young families especially - we were travelling with our 5 month old baby so Steven had set up our place perfectly with a "next to me cot". The pool area is very safe with a gate to stop little ones going near the pool without supervision and there is a mini/crazy golf course and play area for entertainment. The cleanliness of our accommodation was outstanding. Steven & the cleaners clearly work hard to make sure that things are well presented. Upon arrival we had a fresh stock of Nespresso pods for the coffee machine, bottled water, nuts, sparkling wine and a few beers in the fridge to help us relax. More importantly for self-catering accommodation, there were condiments for cooking and all the domestic products you need for washing, washing up, rubbish disposal etc. so no need to purchase yourself. This meant we spent less time setting ourselves up and more time relaxing and enjoying the sunshine! The location: it's not Prime Algarve territory like Vale De Lobo or Vilamoura, but the price reflects this. We found it to be the best of both worlds. A relaxing, safe, quiet and homely environment where you can either drive or (as we did) Taxi to Vale De Lobo for the day; 16 euros each way which was much cheaper than hiring a car. There's plenty more to say, but I'd suggest finding out for yourself! We'll be back in the future.

Negative: Probably the worst thing was that we didn't book longer! Other than that, the only time I was remotely annoyed was with the occasional Wasp disrupting my attempts to BBQ; but Steven is able to sort Citronella candles around the bbq area to ward off any bugs wanting to join you for dinner!

Positive: Great experience in a lovely place! Host Steevan really made us feel welcome and special. He recommended really nice restaurants, places for a walk and sights in the area so that we had a great time during our stay. We even tried the oranges from the garden.

Positive: Incredible host, probably the best I've met in many years. Property is great for those who have children, with lot's of fun things to do. The house is well equipped and Steven is always available to help on anything we need. Pool area is quiet and pool is amazing.
