This is a beautiful family house 50 minutes north of Bordeaux. It sleeps 11 in 5 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms, kitchen, sitting room (with sky TV, bluray and piano) and internal courtyard with raised terrace perfect for eating al fresco and taking in the far reaching views of the vineyards and sunflower fields. In a large enclosed garden there is a trampoline and tree swing. There is a separate pool area with a fantastic 14m heated infinity pool (open in the summer) with safety cover and diving board, a hot tub and comfortable loungers. Local activities include tennis, riding, go-karting, local markets and river sailing. Around 40 minutes away there are beautiful beaches and a great zoo.
Changeover day is Sunday in July and August.

Summary: One of the best places we have ever stayed. The house is surrounded by stunning views and the infinity pool sublime. It’s comprehensively equipped and the rooms are great. Amazing sunrises and sunsets and several Al fresco dinning areas. Lucy our host was great and very helpful. Hats off to Thomas her brother in law who was a brilliant concierge . We agreed a week wasnt long enough! Thank you for a fantastic family holiday - we all said it was perfect.

Summary: We had a fortnight of cultural activities planned but ended up lounging by the pool or in the hot tub enjoying this amazing house. OK, we did venture out to a few local restaurants but that was about it! Multiple shaded dining areas / terraces with views across the vineyard, lots of space internally, everything was provided and Thomas, the concierge, could not have been more helpful or solicitous. We are a family of four who were joined for a week by friends - a family of six - and there was plenty of room. No one was tripping over each other. I cannot recommend this property and Thomas / Lucy highly enough. We will return!

Summary: The house was ideal for our 3 generations ranging in age from 17 months to 70. It was fully equipped for a large family and items such as pool towels and fans in all bedrooms were much appreciated. The children enjoyed the spacious grounds with trampoline and swing, and the beautiful infinity pool was lovely for playing and swimming. The shaded terrace was ideal for eating all together, while enjoying the views over the vineyards. We loved the calm and tranquility of the area, but enjoyed visiting attractive local towns and villages. Thomas who lives next door, welcomed us looked after us well. It really was a wonderful holiday.

Summary: We had a fantastic time as an extended family (6 adults and 4 children). The house is amazing. The location and views superb and the pool is fantastic- really large and kept beautifully clean by Thomas (who lives next door). The trampoline, swing and hot tub were also very much appreciated. All in all, we had an amazing 2 weeks and would thoroughly recommend this property for a group holiday.

Summary: We holiday in France every year and this is our favourite house we've stayed in. We've been here three times. Both Lucy (manages booking) and Thomas ( manages property) are lovely and so helpful. The pool is brilliant 15 m long over 2 m deep at the deepest and always heated to a fantastic temperature. The kitchen is really well equipped and there are two BBQs one gas one coal. The rooms are all a good size and have ensuite or bathroom next door. The outside veranda / balcony is great and the view across the vines is so beautiful. Nearest supermarket and boulangarie is 8 mins drive. The supermarket is large and very well stocked. We'll definitely be back for our fourth stay soon.

Summary: This spacious house was perfect for our party of 6 adults and five children ranging from 7 to 14. The house is beautiful with stone walls, beams, lovely bedrooms, plenty of bath/shower rooms, and an inner courtyard. The kitchen is so well equipped with everything you can think of and the lounge is comfy for playing games or watching one of the many videos indoors, when it is too hot outside. There are so many pretty places to sit and eat and the huge infinity pool, with its stunning views of sunflowers and vineyards, is amazing. The wonderful garden is full of colourful roses and shrubs. Adults and children all had a fantastic time and didn’t want to leave. Thank you Thomas for being so friendly and helpful with everything to make it a fabulous holiday.

Summary: The house is even better than the pictures. The infinity pool and jacuzzi are absolutely fantastic as well as the bbq place with dining table in the evening sun. The host is very helpful and friendly. A true recommendation!

Summary: We have just returned from a fantastic week and this beautiful French property. Inside the property is charming and fully equipped with everything that you are likely to need. Externally the property is a dream - lots of different areas to sit and have breakfast, lunch or dinner depending on position of the sun / time of day - all of which have fantastic views of the French countryside. Everyone loved the pool and standing on the infinity edge looking at the scenery. It is so much bigger than we expected and we couldn't keep our boys out of it. When we eventually got them to sleep, you couldn't keep the adults out of the hot-tub! The photo's and description do not do this property justice and we will without doubt return. The owner couldn't do enough to look after us - thank you Lucy.
