Fully modernized 30s family home in Haarlem with deep, sunny city garden facing southwest. Only few kilometers from the beach and dunes. Ideal for a family with children. Our bicycles are sometimes (when not in use ourselves) available free of charge so you can easily explore the area.

Amsterdam city center by train only 15 minutes. Sea and dunes closer. Less than 50 meters from a bus stop which gives direct access to central station Haarlem (5 minutes) or the city center (8 minutes)

Our house consists of:
Ground floor
Front yard of 5x5 meters
Hall with coat and separate toilet.
Sunny living room 12 meters deep, with large dining area for 6-8 persons. Luxury kitchen with island and dishwasher, oven, microwave oven, freezer, refrigerator. Large sliding doors to sunny backyard on Southwest (17x5,5) with terrace and garden furniture for 5 people. Dining table for four people, horizontal bar and swing for children. Toys for children.

First floor
2 bedrooms space. Master Bedroom with bed (180x200), and doors to roof terrace. Children's bedroom with 1 bed (90x200). Luxurious bathroom with bath, separate shower, toilet and sink. Locker Room.

Second floor
1 extra large bedroom (35m2) with seating area and double bed (2x 90x200)that can be separated into 2 single beds. Laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

Please note: this property is not rented to groups of young people because the house and the neighborhood are not equipped for this.

Summary: Thanks so much for a wonderful stay in this typical dutch townhouse. Monique and Ton are very friendly and helpful hosts, the house is fully equiped - we had everything we needed for a family with 2 children. Lovely, sunny garden and also two bikes for free :)

Summary: A lovely, quiet location, about 15 minutes walk from the town centre. well-kept house, with a nice garden to relax in and all amenities available for cooking etc. The stairs were very steep, so might not suit anyone with any mobility issues, but it was a great place to stay overall.

Summary: Monique and Ton are a lovely couple having their pretty Livvi. As promised, Ton picked us up from the airport with all our bags and drove us to Haarlem. The house is very tidy, clean, comfortable and truly full of positive energy. We spent an unforgettable week in this lovely home as I must call it as it is not just a house

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay in Haarlem and in this house. The house was large and very comfortable and suited us well. It had everything we needed. We particularly liked the decor, the very comfortable beds and the attractive garden - it was lovely to sit ourdoors in the comfy chairs! We made good use of the bikes at the house and we very much enjoyed cycling around Haarlem, particularly the ride down to the national park and the beach. The roads are very safe as there are cycle lanes to go on. We walked into the town centre most days too, it's an easy 20 minute walk. We also visited Amsterdam twice, and the 15 minute train journey is quick and not too expensive (8euros for a return day ticket). Lots of shops and restaurant choice in Haarlem. Two of us are vegetarians and we were very impressed with the meal choices on offer - particularly the Indonesian food. Also impressed with the amount of vegetarian food available at the little co op supermarket around the corner from the house - a good choice of veggie burgers and sausages. The house owners were extremely helpful and answered all queries quickly by email.
