There are three comfortable bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king size bed, one upstairs has a double bed and one is a twin room with two single beds. All bedrooms have a wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage. A cot can be available for the main bedroom downstairs if required. There is plenty of space for up to six people.
The shower room has a large shower cubical and powerful shower.
The kitchen has a gas hob with an electric double oven. There is an oil fired stove which heats the water and central heating and can also be used for cooking. There is an under counter fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and all the other kitchen utensils that you may need whilst on holiday. The washing machine has a combined tumble dryer condenser which is also situated in the kitchen. The freezer sits outside a storage cupboard which is off a door in the sitting room.
The sitting room has a large comfortable corner suite which reclines at both ends. There is a 37" TV/DVD player with a large selection of films for all ages. There is a book cabinet with a wide selection of books and a set of binoculars which come in useful for the local wildlife. There are board games and playing cards for all ages. WiFi is available.

There is a large drive which will accommodate 3 cars comfortably. There is a large garden both front and back which is completely fenced all around and safe for children. There is a picnic bench and a BBQ can be available.

Summary: Good basic accommodation in a beautiful location.Loved seeing the birds in the morning and the daily negotiation with sheep to exit the village on the single track roads. Highlight was the spotting of an eagle on a trip out one morning.Beware the top step of the stairs which needs to be signposted “as a point to beware of” as our daughter missed her step one day and slipped a couple of steps.

Summary: The house was ideal for us with all the facilities we needed. The hosts were helpful. As we were on a walking holiday, we much appreciated the washing machine and means to dry our gear. if returning to Lewis we'd be happy to stay here again.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. You can walk from the property and enjoy a very peaceful moment. We made it to Luskentyre, Hushinish, Uig, Stornaway and Callanish stones. The property is comfortable, fully equipped. We enjoyed having breakfast and dinner in the fabulous kitchen. The owners were super helpful and welcoming. Our first visit to the Outer Hebrides. We will be back!

Summary: Lovely clean property,had everything we needed and the perfect location.Owners were very friendly,perfect size rooms ,well equiped kitchen,we would certainly return and recommend the property .

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this super cozy house. It felt like a real home for real people (homely and practical with attention to detail) and was not cheaply set up like most other holiday houses. The location is one of the most beautiful places on Lewis. A 30 second walk from the house and you can enjoy sunset or dawn reflecting in the nearby loch. 5 Minutes southward and you can enjoy it from a nearby hilltop with a panoramic view over the peninsula. Overall: cozy house, beautiful location and nice people. We hope to be back soon!

Summary: We had a fantastic stay at 6 cromore. The owners were great we had a 3 month old baby and they went out of there way to set up a cot in the bottom bedroom. The house is well kitted out with all the stuff you need. I really liked the small touches with the salt and pepper, oil , tin foil and cling film saves you buying or taking these items with you. The house is very spacious nice big kitchen with a dinning table that seats 6 and a nice big AGA. Lovely sitting room with plenty of dvds and games to watch or play Plenty room for cars to be parked.The scenery and the views were brilliant. The owners have made up a little booklet about all the local walks and some history of the surrounding area. Isle of Lewis is a wonderful small island. We managed to drive all round the island in our weeks stay. We will defiantly be back and stay again we were made so welcome.
